Hermann Göring Presentation Forestry Dagger. (Item SFLAGS 1-2)

DESCRIPTION: This just might be one of a kind? It is a beautiful re-creation of a ceremonial Hirshfanger more widely known as a hunting dagger. It was made by Carl Julius Krebs in Solingen. I assure you we have only this one and have asked the Germania folks if they had ever seen another and with their many years of experience they had not seen anything like it here or in Germany. So, I believe what we have here is a unique piece. The craftsmanship is superb and keeping my promise to Germania, I only offer the very best of re-created items. Often, they are like this one (one of a kind!). The knife has a beautiful genuine stag grip and the cross guard is shaped with a fox at one and his pursuer, the hound, at the other. In the middle of the cross guard is a fox again, and on the reverse a wild-woods boar. The clamshell Languet bears the German Third Reich eagle and swastika. The blade has heavy deep etching with floral designs with the logo of the Deutsche Jäger Verein under the clamshell guard (the St. Hubertis elk). The obverse side of the blade has the words: “Falknerhof-Riddagshausen den 3. Nov. 1937. On the reverse is says, “Der Reichsjägermeister” and then the facsimile signature of Hermann Göring. The dagger and scabbard are in beautiful condition. Yes, it is a rebirth of one of the Reichsmarschal's elaborate presentations, but highly collectible in any case, because of its beauty and the obvious fact that it is unique. If the original were found, it would bring multiple thousands. This great facsimile can be had for the price below.

PRICE: $1,500.00; did I hear unique?
