DESCRIPTION: This is an original poster from the 1930's advertising Adolf Hitler's book Mein
Kampf, "My Struggle." The book was being advertised by Franz Eher Verlag, the official publishers, in Munich. The price was 2 marks 85. We found a few of these years ago in a Munich bookseller's shop. They are mostly in good condition, considering they are a 60-year-old paper item. It is delivered rolled. A very, very important historical item that should be framed or at least mounted. It measures 20 x 12 1/2 inches. When found, examples have brought hundreds of dollars.

Bavarian Folk Pipe of Likeness of Hitler (Item AH 1-3) |
|||
DESCRIPTION: This pipe carved from burl wood is typical of the Bavarian folk art. Although the likeness is not the best, it is still unmistakable as to whom is depicted. Kitch art such as this was discouraged by the party officials after 1933, but still was done in little hamlets and Dörfer throughout Bavaria and the southern Tirol. The peasants loved the Führer and many artforms were used to show their deep infatuation with their leader. Rare and historically important, this pipe is in fine shape. From the nose to the lip part of the stem is 6 inches. From the top of the head (bowl) is about 2 ½ inches high. This is a rare Kampfzeit item.

Book Unser Aller Hitler, Our own Hitler (Item AH 1-5) |
||||||||||||
DESCRIPTION: Printed by the Nibelungen Press in Berlin, this small soft-cover booklet is rather tattered as far as the covers are concerned, but the interior is fine. It is a very historically important book in that it points out the absurdity of the anti-Hitler cartoons proffered by the foreign press throughout the world. It makes the comparison with what his adoring people really felt about him. Particularly humorous is the widely circulated picture of a grotesque child that resembles a bulldog grimacing in hideous fashion. Across from this ridiculous yellow-rag offering is the genuine picture of baby Hitler. There are pictures of Hitler as a torturer of women to include banning smoking for the distaff side, plus no jazz-band dancing, hideous make-up, etc., and then the photo of the Führer with a beautiful, elegant lady in Berlin. There is a picture of the somber murderer of his own people with a potpourri of bloody genocide all about. The other side shows the Führer with adoring multitudes all straining for the touch of his hand. Although in rather used and tattered condition this is still a very important historical volume.
