Rare Original Red Cross Helmet (Item WEHR 16-2)

DESCRIPTION:The Red Cross (Deutsches Rotes Kreuz), or “DRK,” is comprised of personnel who were involved in hazardous duty (search and rescue operations, sanitation in bomb-damaged areas, first aid, etc.) were issued a variety of steel helmets; usually they were Luftshutz-type helmets. The helmets were painted in DRK gray (a smooth, light-gray color), although some helmets toward the end of the war were a darker gray. The DRK decal, which was worn on the helmet’s left side, consisted of a black eagle with folded wings perched on a red cross. A white, mobile swastika was found on the eagle’s breast and this design was positioned on a white shield with pointed bottom. This particular fine version has a decal on the other side with a red cross with mobile swastika. This gives rise to the fact that it may have been for a high official in the DRK. It has the standard early-type Wehrmacht chinstrap. At the back of the shell is the number 37 as it also appears on the decals. This is of course the lightweight aluminum shell with the air holes in the sides near the decals. Labels appear inside the top of the shell having to do with “SS” and Wehrmacht hospital regulations. We would consider this piece one of the most rare of all German helmets. fine art of refurbishing helmets at the top of this page.

Book Bilddokumente des Feldzugs in Polen, Picture Document of the Field Campaign in Poland (Item WEHR 16-3)

DESCRIPTION:The book comprises 126 photo-filled pages on the hard fighting in Poland by the German Armed Forces. Printed in 1940, Adolf Hitler declared war on Poland. Why? See our picture on page 55 of the mutilated corpses of German citizens (not graphically shown). Hundreds of the Volksdeutsche were butchered by Polish partisans (probably communists) in defiance of Germany’s rearming. Books have been published showing this early holocaust perpetrated against the Germans very much documented by International Red Cross records and others. This is not to be laid to the door of Poland’s history without realizing that the radical Catholic Zionist, and red influence gave ammunition to these horrible murders. The thinking stratum of Poland was horrified by this when it became evident. Red agents wanted to position Poland for a setup. This is my historic opinion. When it finally happened and the reds of the NKVD came in they murdered in cold blood more than 30,000 Polish officers at Katyin Forest and other areas. The Germans proved this in 1940, but Russia only admitted it in 1990. The Nuremberg Tribunal ignored it when brought up by German defense counsels. We couldn’t possibly have evidence given against our victorious allies. Our beloved Joe Stalin would take offense wouldn’t he? The book is filled with great photos of the Heldenkrieg. The book measures 9 ¾ x 7 inches. This is a rare period piece of WWII history.

Book Allen Gewalten zum Trotz: Bilder vom Feldzug im Osten, All Power in Defiance (Item WEHR 16-4)

DESCRIPTION:This edition contains pictures from the campaign in the east. Published in 1942, this is a Heinrich Hoffmann picture book chronicling the horrendous war in the east against Bolshevism carried on by the German Armed Forces. It is a very limited edition filled with about 150 action photos done by the camera crews of H. Hoffmann’s field studios. The Führer is quoted in the first pages as saying: “I have myself today determined that the fate and future of this German Reich and our peoples lies in the hands of our soldiers!” Here in pictures is the heroic struggle that although it ended with disastrous results, it set back the agenda of one of the bloodies beast nations and ideologies the world has ever seen (the Soviet Empire), the beast swine that President Ronald Reagan called the “Empire of Evil.” This is a concise photo study in an actual period volume.

3-D Book (Raumbilder) Der Kampf im Westen, The War in the West (Item WEHR 16-5)

DESCRIPTION: Here, presented by Germania International, LLC, is a magnificent book in the Raumbilder form. The book has the complete set of 100 card with none missing and in these books, when found, this is “rare”! These are 3-dimensional viewing cards (stereographs). The picture you get when looking through the special glasses (stereoscope) is utterly phenomenal (almost unbelievable)! Here, history unfolds before your eyes. History is revealed not in the usual way through even the best of photography, but here you are, there!, almost in the literal sense. It is fantastic. Here are the SS and Police troops, along with other factions of the mighty Wehrmacht with tanks, airplanes, artillery battering at the door of France with the mailed fist. The use of war dogs and pigeons are shown. Black beret Panzer troops , heavy-gun emplacements are seen. French troops, including the Senegalese Negroes, are marched by the victory at Dunkirk and the aftermath is put before you. The invasion of England should have followed this immediately! General von Brauchitsch and General von Küchler are shown in the field. The French surrender in the train car of Marshal Foch is photographed starring Adolf Hitler and Hermann Göring. The book also has 78 pages of text that chronicles the event. If that is not all or enough, eight of the most fantastic full-page, full-color prints of the campaign are also included. The German color photography by Agfa was the best in the world at that time. Here is your chance to own a very historically important volume of WWII history, but also you can now, as we said before, “be there!” through the use of 3-dimensional photography. Put on a CD of German march music like Wenn wir Marschieren and sit back and be miraculously transformed to the days of Deutschland’s glory.
