DESCRIPTION: This is one of the most beautiful non-portable awards of the Third Reich. It was given to persons who were to be honored. for their part in the development of the world's first super Highway. It was unfortunately not given to those who worked with the pick and shovel although they probably deserved it. Rather, it was presented to those engineers and architects who were most closely associated with the planning and the installation of the “Hitler Highway.”  This is a large award for the completion of 2000 kilometers of the German autobahn. It is about 5 inches long (110 mm) and 3 inches wide. High quality nickel-silver alloy with separately applied nickel silver eagle and swastika device and winged wheel below. In the center the design is what has been described as a divided highway. This is in red glass cloisonné enamel and with silver lettering. It proclaims "Reichsautobahn 2000 km."  The reverse is darkly toned with natural tarnish and shows that sterling-like Rainbow patina common to genuine Silver. It has three sunken rivets on the back and has the signature or mark of the greatest insignia maker in Third Reich Germany, Deschler & Sohn, Munchen. It has a slightly vaulted concave construction. This in our estimation is a prodigiously important piece of profound historical importance and artistically beautiful to boot! Remember, this was the world’s first super expressway and a grand accomplishment of the Third Reich of Adolf Hitler.

DESCRIPTION: This is the award just like the one above at NSD 18-1. The description is the same except for the fact that this one is in gold color instead of red. The purpose was also the same. It is commonly known that 3rd Reich awards were invariably presented in various classes; obviously the gold class was considered a greater achievement level in most badges of the Reich. This would hardly be an exception as there were various aspects of planning, labor, layout, etc. in the development of this, the world's first super highway. Note that instead of the red enamel banners running around the edges we now have black edges that bring out the golden elegance of this award. We have called the previous one above a prodigiously important piece that is of profound historical importance and we stated it is beautiful to boot! Well of course that goes for this one as well and, we pointed out that this autobahn was one of the grand accomplishments of Hitler’s Third Reich.

DESCRIPTION: “Deutsche in Aller Welt” -- Germans in the All the World. This is a calendar published by the Volksbund for Das Deutschtum in Ausland (organization for Germans who live outside the Reich). In the African colonies, Rumania, Sudetenland, Hungary, Danzig, New York, interesting picture of a German farm in Minnesota. The calendar is 7" x 10" in measurement. Most of the pictures are full page; it has about 63 pages of beautiful clear pictures in wonderful black and white. No pages are missing and it runs from January 1st right up to December 31, 1940. Rare and important to research into this most interesting aspect of the Third Reich

DESCRIPTION: This was produced to commemorate the history of Sontheim on the occasion of its corporation into the district free city of Heilbrunn-Necker and it was dedicated to Herr Karl Feucht of the council in Sontheim on September 30th 1938 with the original signatures of the mayor, the assistant mayor and aldermen. It is on fine parchment hand done in the most beautiful calligraphy and signed by a certain Herr Von Hammel who did the art work. The box is lined with linen and it is probable that it once had a top but that is missing if it had one at all. When the double flaps containing a Hitler quote is opened you see the parchment document when this is lifted there lays within 23 photos 18 cm x 13 cm from various places within Sontheim. For the collector who appreciates art and social history of the 3rd Reich this is a particularly rare and beautiful addition to an important collection.  The box measures in inches 10 x 13 and is 2 inches deep in very nice condition. The words of Adolf Hitler that are on the opening flaps are translated as follows:  “History is not made by weaklings nor neutrals but by people who are not afraid to fight!”  If only there were more people who would fit into the latter category.

Book: Deutschland Erwachen “Germany Awakened” (Item NSD 18-8)

DESCRIPTION: This is a premier book highly sought after by N.S. collectors and rare book collectors world wide. It is probably the best pictorial chronology of the Third Reich ever produced. 432 pages of tantalizing historic text and hundreds of brilliant black and white photos fill the pages of this prodigiously important volume. DESCRIPTION: This is a grouping of books from different sections of the Party and organizations, some have pictures, some do not, all are important to the history of the Third Reich.

No. 1 HJ Kampf und Siegt (Hitler Youth) in struggle and victory, 24 pages maps, sports, poems, and interestingly it has the words and musical notes for the song “Nun Pfeifts Von Allen Dachern."  It sings from all the rooftops -- this was a fighting song of the SA Stormtroops. It is stamped printed in Germany and was sent to the German American Bund in Buffalo, New York in 1938.  

No. 2 DeinVolk Ruff Dich! (Your people call you!) Filled with text, pictures, and maps. 

No. 3 Wille und Macht (Will and Strength!) This was the Hitler Youth leaders Magazine -- maps, zones, pictures. It is stamped printed in Germany (sent to German American Bund in Buffalo, New York in 1938. This one has a pictorial section showing several N.S. buildings that were built in the 3rd Reich including the mountain troop Kaserne at Sonthofen. 

No 4 Kolumbus Entlardt published in 1936. A very interesting book that confirms that the Nordic people (Vikings) discovered an America long before Christopher Columbus and why certain of the‘Weltfiend” feel it is so important to continually insert the lies and distortions. Many maps and Icelandic runic charts.  

No 5 The Deutsche Freikorps an Memel und Duna published by the HJ Kameradadschaft in 1938 -- it has maps and illustrations dealing with the re-seizure of the ancient Germanic lands by the free corps in the east.  Has many maps and the history of these patriotic soldiers of the Reich. Stamped printed in Germany and was sent to The German American bund chapter in Buffalo, New York in 1938.

DESCRIPTION: This is an accurate facsimile of a political broadside that was distributed on patriotic occasions during the “Kampfzeit” (the struggle for power) 1932, the year before Hitler's ascension to head of state (Fuhrer). It was an appeal for the German people to awaken all that was positive in National Socialism in difference to the shame of such obsentaties as the Versailles Treaty, reparation demands, and revolution, usury, government oppression, etc. It has at its top the proud eagle of the Hohenzollern Dynasty (1914). The next 1918 shows the mean spirited eagle superimposed over the cap of the Bolshevik Revolutionaries. In 1923 the eagle takes on the figure of usury and foreign control and influence. In 1931, police brutality against the National Socialists but in 1932 the proud German eagle stands ready to take his place in the “New Order” as the sun wheel swastika looms in the horizon behind him. We do not normally deal in reproductions, but in this case it is just a great item with much historic significance and we wish to share it with our customers. Order of the German Eagle (Deutsche Adler Orden) (Item NSD 18-11 & AH 26-5)

DESCRIPTION: This is the First Class Award neck badge without swords in fine silver gilt & white enamel marked on the ring 900 and the numerals (21) with original full neck ribbon. The award is in its original white silk and black velvet lined red leatherette covered case of issue with the gold embossed national eagle on the top and inside on the white silk lining it says Verdienstekreuz 1, Stufe, Des Deutschen Adler Ordens. The award is in mint condition with all enamel intact. The 900 content marking on the medal is the highest grade silver ever used in the construction of a German Order. The case shows some wear at its corners but fine to extra fine condition both outside and interior, a scarce and highly desirable example of this rarely found order. It was one of the NS. Party’s highest honors and was awarded to prominent foreigners, particularly Diplomats sympathetic to the N.S. government. Henry Ford and was one such recipient in a much higher class of the Order and to his everlasting credit, he refused to return it when heavily pressured to do so by the F.D.R far left (practically communist) administration. This is the absolutely most beautiful order of Merit that Germany ever bestowed upon worthy recipients. Another famed American who received the Order was Charles Lindberg in 1938 and Charles J. Watson, Chairman of IBM in 1937. The Adler Order first instituted on 1 May, 1937 by Adolf Hitler, and without a doubt one of the most sought after medals of Third Reich and general medal and order collecting today.

DESCRIPTION: This is a special pin made in a very special silversmith shop. Some of the dealers on the internet sites who are “fly by the seat of their pants forgers” have attempted to copy the Schnell items that we have in our grouping but to practically no avail.  The copies are without the crisp detail and fine lines since these “Arschlocks” use the lost wax process and could never afford to use dies that would necessitate a huge amount of financial capital. To date not one has tried it and I am sure they will not. They will simply stay with their futile efforts of trying to “make a silk purse out of a sows ear” (*old Scottish expression). So dear collector, these items retain their integrity because they are original productions of the Third Reich. 

As to the item at hand, this is a special lapel pin that was exclusively ordered through the official auspices of the NSDAP (The Party). The son of original jeweler assured me that the original design was by his father and the Elder produced only a few of them. He made only the silver ones and he later turned the design over to a company in Ludenshied who produced a version in thin brass. The exclusive silver version was for special presentation to German citizens who helped to bring about the victory of the N.S.Party in 1933. Hitler was defeated in 1932 by field Marshal Von Hindenburg but even though he had lost the bid for power to this point, he was drawing ever larger crowds. In one day July 27th, he spoke to 60,000 enthusiastic persons in Brandenburg and too nearly as many in Potsdam and that same evening to 120,000 massed in the giant Grunwald Stadium in Berlin, while outside an additional 100,000 heard his voice by loudspeaker.  So popular was Hitler in the eyes of the German people that President Hindenburg on Jan 1933 appointed Him Chancellor of Germany. This now was the victory and history records that the Fuhrer went on to many more in the saga of the Third Reich.  As we have said, this beautifully designed lapel pin was more or less an award for loyalists whose diligent labors brought about this political win, however it was effectuated at that point in time.  

We are told that the pin was not designed nor issued until after Hitler’s appointment as Chancellor. It was strictly an award token. We were also told that more of them were made and issued by the Party to those who participated intently in the 1938 Austrian Plebiscite. The watchword and promotional slogan for this was (JA) “yes” worn by Germans and Austrians who were 90% in favor of the Anschluss. Again the N S motivated public wore this pin in brass to show their support while the Parteimitglieder who worked toward these ends feverishly and diligently were issued the pin in the coveted silver version. 

So it really is a very rare historically important article we have, due to our fortunate procurement of them at Stuttgart. The pin measures ¾ of one inch square about the size of an American nickel coin in dimension. It was made in 800 silver and is so marked on the back. It has the usual clasp as seen on many German badges. The swastika is of the mobile style with the circle in the middle with the “JA” (Yes) in German script letters.  It is the ultimate symbol of loyalty and solidarity expressed in the form of the Hakenkreuz or Swastika. This we believe is the ultimate Third Reich collectable for those who appreciate the true early history of the N.S. movement. How much more interesting than a pair of jackboots, a field pack, a unit patch, or general assault badge!

Sign from the Office of Racial Politics “Amt Fur Rassenpolitik” (Item NSD 18-14)

DESCRIPTION: This was a very important NSDAP office created for unifying and supervising all indoctrination and propaganda work in the field of population and racial politics created by decree on 17 November, 1933. It mandated in part that all press releases or issues of race required the approval of this office and that the office deals with all measures concerning the field of population and racial policies in cooperation with competent authorities. This office also was to take part in all governmental legislative measures in this field. This sign is for the legal bureau of this office and under the name Amt fur Rassenpolitik it says ‘Gaurechtsamt”.  The legal sectional and state regional office within each Gau. The Reichsamt was concerned with all legislation concerning racial matters including approval of marriages, seeing to it that such unions would have sound genetic racial background in accordance with N.S. health regulations and the furthermost degree of sound racial parentage issues. Of course all of these ultra-sensible precautions are in the refuse bins now. We now celebrate wide open and often dangerous diversity and forced equality and the brainwashed populace seemingly relishes it regardless of the horrendous results in crime and pestilence and this surely will spell doom for these United States of ours. The sign is in enameled light gauge iron or steel. It measures 20 inches long and 7 ¼ inches high. For one of these enamel signs it is in marvelous condition. Only minor chipping to the enamel near the mounting holes and a very slight one at the top edge. The rarity of this sign is obvious. Certainly under the de-Nazification in the post war years, most of them if not all others from this organizational department were destroyed. 

We almost can’t imagine any sign that might be as rare or as meaningful as this one and to find it in this near perfect condition is marvelous indeed. This is 100% original with the decidedly convex surface as opposed to the flat surface of the British made copies of Third Reich signs that came out of Birmingham a few years back. But they never made a copy of this one as there wasn’t an original around to copy. They would not have done it anyway since the street sign company in England would not even know what “Rassenpolitik” meant. So, here it is, offered to the “intelligentsia” of Third Reich collectors. The true“Germanophile” who gets deep into the mythos and genetic studies of the National Socialist state.

DESCRIPTION: This is a rare piece of “notgeld” from the hyper-inflation era in Germany. It is a 1,000 Mark bank note that one would have to have a wagon load of to purchase a loaf of bread. On the back is a depiction of the Soviet Jewish gentleman Herr Radeck who evidently was an official of the Communist Party Operating in Germany. Under the hideous countenance shown here are words that in German say he is a railroad robber, a murderer of workers, a big capitalist in a system that purports to be Socialist. It reads . . ."Workers, do you want to be under this leadership?” German people, vote National Socialist and read the People’s Observer. These Reichsbank notes are extremely rare and this one is in marvelous condition for its age. Do we imply that all Jewish people were communists? No. Read the book, Hitler’s Jewish soldiers.

DESCRIPTION: Here is the most sacred edifice of the Third Reich in an original print with identification on the back that it is from the book and print collection that was kept at the original Headquarters of the NSDAP at the Sterneker-Brau No. 54 in the center of old Munich. The picture measuring 12 ½ x 8 ½ is a fine clear photographic depiction of the Hall of the Field Marshals (Feldherenhalle). This was the monument where at its side on November 9th, 1923 16 loyal N.S. Party members were slain at the end of their march with Adolf Hitler who intended to bring down the Bavarian Government that was doing everything except serving the needs of the German people. This event was labeled the Beer Hall Putsch. After the bloody battle and after Hitler came to power in 1933 (ten years later) the Fuhrer commissioned a beautiful bronze plaque on the East side of the Feldherrenhalle to commemorate the N.S. heroes that died there and November 9th was made a National holiday. The Fuhrer said, "We are determined to make this a Holy Day for the German Nation for the future and for all time!” Every November 9th the National Socialists staged a parade along the streets the putschists followed. The whole route was lined with smoking funeral urns on tall poles. Hitler and his entourage marched to the boom of muffled drums. Concealed loudspeakers announced the names of the martyred dead along with inspirational music. It was certainly a sacred monument and it’s still there today stripped of the beautiful plaque by the liberal government along with their many acts of vengeful vandalism against the vestiges of ‘N.S. Kultur.’ Kein Volk lebt langer als die dockumente seiner Kultur! Adolf Hitler, 1937. No people live longer than the documentation of their culture.

The picture is from the official archives and main library of the National Socialist German Workers Party (NSDAP). It also has the stamp Hauptbucherei which means the main library collection. The large stamp gives the Tal 54 (Sterneckerbrau) address; this was the first office of the party in Munich. The photographer was of course Heinrich Hoffmann and it was produced in honor of the SA man Johann Wolf (martyr). Hoffmann’s Berlin office is stamped on the back as well. The collector who has consigned this print never framed it because of all this grouping of important stamps on the back.  e would suggest that it should be framed in a frame with glass on both sides. What a great looking collection piece it would make!

Coburg Presentation Beer Stein Given to a Blood Order Recipient (Item NSD 18-16a; ART 17-17b; PERS 5-4)

DESCRIPTION: This is the NSDAP flagpole top most familiar to most of us. Unlike the SS-SA type found elsewhere in this section, it is cast in aluminum where the others are in plated brass. The wing span is 9 ½ inches long, while the height of the piece is also 9 ½  inches counting the tubular part that slips onto the flag pole. It has no RZM or other markings (usual) -- the front of the swastika has been blackened (usual), used but still in good condition. Very rarely found today. 100% original!
