NSDAP Wedding Ring (Item NSD 2-1)

DESCRIPTION: This is hitherto a very rare ring that was the official wedding band of the NS Party. We obtained these rings in the same manner and same lot as the Victory Rings that can be best described in the section under Item SS 3-4. This petite, but dynamic, ring with its swastikas and oak leaves is a very beautiful specimen of the best in NS craftsmanship and it personifies the ideology of the party with its Teutonic symbolism-simple yet dynamic-and is reminiscent of the turbulent era. Some of the rings had the 800 or 835 stamp inside the shank, but as we described in item SS 3-4 we got what we got! It is possible at that point in time that some of them never got around to being stamped. However, the rings we have are genuine and crafted back then in real 800 silver(guaranteed). In the group ultimately purchased there were only a few with the stamp (they have been sold), but it is not unusual to find many different NSDAP rings without the marks that were once thought to be obligatory. So many of them turned up sans the 800 or 835 that it seems almost ordinary; something like the pictures of SS men we see wearing army insignia or wearing army swords (commonplace)! In any case, these folks were not as strict as we sometimes seem to think. This is a great ring. Und u vill luv it! These rings became very popular and were used by civilian party members, soldiers of the Wehrmacht, SA troops, and even Waffen- personnel for nuptials.

License Plate Tag (NSDAP) (Landrat), Alsfeld (Item NSD 2-2)

He was the chief bureaucrat of the NSDAP in the various Grafschaften. This particular one is from Alsfeld, a town in the center of Hosse. Large towns nearby are Fulda and Bad Hersfeld.

NSDAP Silver Eagle (Item NSD 2-3)

DESCRIPTION: This is a special-order eagle that could be purchased privately by political-leader corps people, or SA personnel who merited it. It is a spectacular piece and quite heavy in that it is struck in solid silver. It has the "RZM" marks and the unit mark "M1/44" as it must comply with official standards set by the "RZM." This would be the hat device as purchased privately, but under strict governmental standards as outlined. We have a few of these beautiful items purchased from the same enterprising gentleman mentioned in our explanation at Victory Rings on our page at Item SS 3-3. Many of these special silver insignia came from various of the best firms that crafted jewelry and extremely fine insignia such as Wilm, Wagner, Sy and Wagner, Godet, etc. The sheer beauty of this eagle lies not only in its definitive lines, but also in its thickness and heft. These pieces were marked "800" for silver content. Usually, this mark is found under the laurel wreath bearing the swastika. This is a very excellent piece of Third Reich memorabilia on its own.

Incredible NSDAP Patriot's Ring (A. Hitler) (Item NSD 2-4)

DESCRIPTION: Here from the benches of one of the best jeweler-crafted NSDAP jewelry from the 1930's to 1940's is a great patriotic ring depicting the Führer's likeness in stunning, accurate portrayal. In the purest of silver this ring has to be one of the finest and most dynamic pieces of Third Reich jewelry ever found. The ring is large and heavy. The wreathed swastikas at the side of the ring's shank are nicely enameled. The inside has the obligatory silver stamp: in this case "835" instead of the usual "800." The only Hitler-bust ring that we know of before this discovery was the one in my collection shown to the right of the pictures for comparison and historic research. Hitler rings are very rare and they seem to have a similar theme or design mode; however, of all we have seen, the one we offer here is undoubtedly the finest, yet. It may have been an award ring for diligent public service or it may have been a commercially sold patriot piece. We do know that the company in Lüdenscheid where it was found was known to make other patriotic items. In 1936, most of the companies were finally stopped from making Kitch by the party because they thought some of these items had the effect of denigrating the integrity of the party principles. However, it would seem that this particular example would certainly not bring about such a result because of its fine workmanship and its obvious beauty. Hermann Göring would have definitely been a buyer.
